Last updated 18 June 2026

This policy explains how Locate AI collects and uses your personal data when you use our website, complete the AI diagnostic, or get in touch. We are the data controller for the information described here.

Locate AI is the data controller. Questions about your data can be sent to info@locateai.co.uk.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us. That includes:

  • Contact details you submit through our contact form or the diagnostic: name, email, company, phone, and your message.
  • Diagnostic answers: the responses you type into the AI diagnostic about your business, time sinks, tools, and history, so we can generate a roadmap for you.
  • Booking details if you schedule a call through our scheduling provider.

We do not run advertising trackers or sell your data. See our cookie policy for what is stored in your browser.

How we use it and our lawful basis

We use your information to respond to enquiries, generate your diagnostic roadmap, arrange and prepare for calls, and provide the services you ask us about. Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in responding to and serving prospective clients.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of trusted processors to run this site. They act on our instructions only:

  • Vercel : website hosting and delivery.
  • Anthropic : generates your diagnostic roadmap from the answers you provide. Inputs are not used to train their models.
  • Resend : delivers the emails triggered by the contact form and diagnostic.
  • Calendly : handles call scheduling when you book a call.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and diagnostic data for as long as needed to follow up and, where you become a client, for the duration of our working relationship plus any period required for legal and accounting obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email info@locateai.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
